Former director of neuro-ophthalmology at Barrow Neurological Institute (Phoenix, Arizona), Dr. Thomas Wolf has been in the Phoenix medical community since 2005, and previously in the Tucson, Arizona medical community since 1985.

Dr. Wolf holds a master’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, with an emphasis in bioelectronics and bioengineering.

He received his M.D. degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, followed by a medicine internship at LA County/University of Southern California, and dual residency training in neurology and ophthalmology, completing neurology residency training at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, Denver, Colorado, and ophthalmology residency training at Tulane University Health Sciences Center, New Orleans, La.

Dr. Wolf is board certified and a diplomate with the American Board of Ophthalmology (ABO), a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO), and member of the American Academy of Neurology. He is a senior fellow in the North American Neuro-Ophthalmology Society (NANOS), and a consultant to NASA.

On faculty at Mayo Clinic, Arizona Departments of Neurology and Aerospace Medicine, and a consultant to Barrow Neurological Institute, Dr. Wolf is involved in clinical research and resident teaching in neuro-ophthalmology.
