Guri Bronner MD

Dr. Guri Bronner is a board-certified ophthalmologist with subspecialty training in the surgical and medical treatment of diseases of the retina and vitreous. He has particular interest in macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy and the management of complex retinal detachments.

Dr. Bronner graduated with honors from the University of Pennsylvania and Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, earning his undergraduate degree in neurophysiology followed by his medical degree, receiving multiple awards. He then completed a rigorous training program at New Jersey Medical School where he acted as chief resident and was presented with the Shulman Award for Compassion in Medicine. He completed his training in retina and vitreous surgery at the prestigious Vanderbilt University, where he was honored as the J. Donald M. Gass, MD fellow. During this time, Dr. Bronner authored journal articles and book chapters and was involved in training residents and has been involved in numerous clinical trials. He is a member of the American Medical Association, Pennsylvania Medical Society and Berks County Medical Society.

When Dr. Bronner is not in the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons.
