Dr Katherine Gleason

Dr. Katherine Gleason was born and raised in Southern Idaho where she graduated in the top 10% for her high school class. She attended Carroll College in Montana, graduated with a Bachelors degree in Chemistry and went on to earn her doctorate from the prestigious Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 2008. During her training, Dr.Gleason took the opportunity to travel to Guatemala and provide eye care services for those in need. She recently completed a Residency at the James H. Quillen VA Medical Center in Eastern Tennessee and a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry.

Dr. Gleason enjoys living in the Northwest. A “people person” if there ever was one, she enjoys being actively involved with church and community, and having been raised in Idaho always finds time for outdoor activities such as golfing, hiking, camping and rock climbing. Dr. Gleason has recently discovered distance running and completed her first 5K. She aspires to someday participate in a half-marathon.
