Justin Schweitzer OD

Dr. Schweitzer was born and raised in Jamestown, North Dakota. He attended Jamestown College and graduated with degrees in Biology and Business Administration in 2002. He then attended the Pacific University College of Optometry where he graduated summa cum laude in 2006. After graudation, he and his wife Nissa moved to Sioux Falls, where Dr. Schweitzer enjoyed a great general practice with the doctors of Sioux Falls Family Vision. In July of 2012, he decided to follow his dream to focus on advanced anterior segment surgery care and pathology here at Vance Thompson Vision.

Dr. Schweitzer is a member of the American Optometric Association and the South Dakota Optometric Association and has had multiple articles published in scientific journals.

Justin and Nissa Schweitzer live in Sioux Falls, SD with their two children Paige and Luke. Justin enjoys running and is a passionate Minnesoat Vikings fan.
