Dr. Coppolino, staff optometrist at Koch Eye Associates, is one of our dedicated eye care professionals.

Dr. Coppolino graduated from the University of Rhode Island with distinction in 1976, and the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 1980. He has over 30 years experience in multi-disciplinary settings, three of which were spent serving our country as the Chief of Optometry at a U.S. Army Health Clinic. A member of Koch Eye Associates staff since 1991, Dr. Coppolino received his 4th Optometric Recognition Award from the American Optometric Association in June 2003. He became a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry in 1996.

Dr. Coppolino specializes in primary care optometry at our North Kingstown office, providing a full range of services including complete eye examinations, contact lens fitting, therapeutic management of anterior segment disease, foreign body removal, as well as pre- and post-operative co-managed care of refractive and cataract patients.

As a member of the North Kingstown Rotary Club, Dr. Coppolino served as Chair of the Student and Teacher of the Month program for the 1997-98 school year. He was presented a Distinguished Service Citation in 1997 for his fundraising efforts. In 1996 he served as a volunteer to the North Kingstown High School LINKS program, helping students select and apply to colleges. He has been a neighborhood March of Dimes fundraiser for many years.
