Adam J Peiffer OD

Dr. Peiffer was raised in Fostoria, a small town in Northwest Ohio. He attended The University of Toledo where he earned dual Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degrees with honors. Dr. Peiffer obtained his Doctor of Optometry degree with honors from The Ohio State University College of Optometry. He was awarded the Ocular Instruments Award of Excellence in the study of Ocular Disease and the COVD Award of Excellence in Vision Therapy.

Dr. Peiffer provides comprehensive family eye care and contact lenses with special interests in binocular vision and pediatrics. In addition to patient care at Mid Ohio Eye, he is an Instructor of Clinical Practice at The Ohio State University College of Optometry. He teaches in the Primary Vision Care and Binocular Vision and Pediatric Services and through the graduate program, Dr. Peiffer participates in ongoing research in these areas.

He is an InfantSee provider through his membership in the American Optometric Association. Additionally, he maintains memberships in the American Academy of Optometry and College of Optometrists in Vision Development.

Outside of optometric practice, he enjoys golfing, water and snow sports, and rooting on the Buckeyes.
